We began our travels in ‘The Tent’, our 10 metre Winnebago, in May 2013. Because this was our first experience of traveling and living in a motorhome, we called this our ‘shakedown’ trip. We travelled from Sydney to Mooloolaba where we spent several months relaxing and getting used to this new life, before venturing north to Townsville, returning to Mooloolaba again in October. Maroochydore is now our new Australia home. We left the motorhome here, and then travelled to our NZ house on Waiheke Island to enjoy a delightful NZ summer.

We returned to Australia in April, and after several enhancements for this trip, including replacing a scooter with a 4 wheel drive Suzuki, we left the Sunshine Coast in mid April for this seasons trip, which will take us to Darwin. We are now into the more interesting part of our travels, so rather than lots of email updates to all our friends it is time to move to a new travel blog.
